It’s important to note that Pakistan Day in Islamabad is widely celebrated with huge funfair and celebrations at every nook and corner of the city. Festivals and cultural events in Islamabad are organized during the festive occasions of Eid and New Year with numerous competitions and contests held on this ceremonial occasion. Islamabad Festivals and Events remain incomplete without colorful rallies and parades which are widely organized during the religious carnivals usually participated by large gathering mainly comprising of enthusiastic children and young boys and girls from schools and colleges of the city. Also exhibitions highlighting the different handicrafts of the rural areas are usually witnessed by a huge footfall.
